In case you haven't heard, on Friday October 31st, CRC signed a 20 year lease with the Town of Suffield for use of the Babb's Skating Rink. We have a big refurbishing job ahead of us. The rink, as we all know, has been closed since 1997. Water has been leaking in and there are many code violations that will have to be corrected. Once we get the building "up and running", we can sublet it to a rink operator. All profits realized will be used for CRC lake upkeep & preservation projects.

We will be forming committees soon. If you are interested in getting involved with this exciting project we would love to hear from you. Give some thought to what you would like to do. If you have any particular expertise, want to be on some sort of committee or just want to "do something" let us know. If you know of anyone else that would like to be of help, (or get on the email list) we also would love to hear from them.

We have started a data base of volunteers and their interest preference. If you would like to be included on this data base, simply reply to this email. We'll keep you touch thru our email list and postings on this web site.
