The Town of Southwick has written Citizens Restoring Congamond requesting that we officially request that the Town of Suffield pursue the installation of sewers around the lakes. The town of Southwick's sewer consultants, Tighe & Bond, have performed a cursory feasibility study of the Connecticut shoreline and has recommended this be done. Inasmuch as approximately 40% of the shoreline is in Connecticut, installing sanitary sewers for the balance of the homes surrounding the lakes would ultimately improve the water quality for all.
